Springing Into Spring with Winter Farmers Market Fun

Spring is coming, indeed, as evidenced by melting snow, sunny sunshine, flowing sap and singing birds and sprouting seeds (under cover at Meadowfall Farm, in the photo above). And, of course, a happening scene in the greenhouse of the Wolfeboro Area Farmers Market in Ossipee!

The winter market is still in full gear, through the end of March. Nothing feels better when there’s still a couple of feet of (melting) snow on the ground than hanging out in a warm, sunny greenhouse with a few neighbors and friends, filling your bags with local goodies.

In the last weeks of the market, we’re welcoming a few new vendors to the mix. Word is getting out that this is a fast growing and energetic market scene; there’s no doubt that this neck of the woods can support a winter market! We’re proving it every Saturday! New to our midst are Castle View Fudge (need we say more?), Distinctive Designs by Di and Dan (beautiful notecards), Ossipee Owl (with lovely pot holders, wall hangings and sterling silver jewelry) and Meadowfall Farm (dried mushrooms and more farm goodness). And we may just have a surprise mystery vendor joining us, too—you’ll just have to show up in person to discover that news for yourself!

Please join us for fun in the sun today and for these last market days of the season. We’re here on Saturdays from 10 to 2, waiting for YOU!
