The Wolfeboro Area Farmers Market opened last Thursday to sunshine, lots of eager shoppers and numerous first-time vendors. Occupying the historic green at Wolfeboro’s Clark Park, the 2015 expanded market setup is full and lively; 27 vendors in all are signed up for the summer season.
If you missed the first market, you missed the chance to nibble tasty morsels from Castle View Fudge or Rollin’ in the Dough, or to sample spices and handcrafted culinary herb blends from Regina’s Spices, just a few of our fine new vendors. Shoppers filled their bags with tender spring greens, fresh meats, eggs and the area’s best local food products. Summer is an intense and vibrant season here in the Lakes Region, and our farmers market is a colorful, real-time reflection of that intensity. We started a couple of weeks earlier this year, in order to squeeze market goodness into every available summer moment, so please join us!
During the summer we’ll spotlight our new vendors and share market happenings here on this site, so stay tuned. Sign up for updates to be sure you don’t miss a thing, and be sure to like our Facebook page. Word of mouth is our favorite way to get the word out—that means you! Be sure to tell your friends about the market and bring a few people with you next week. The best way we can show our vendors our appreciation is to show up, bring friends and fill our shopping bags!
We’re at Clark Park on Thursdays from 12:30 to 4:30! See you at the market!
