With just four winter markets left in the season, the market’s board of directors is already in full gear planning for the summer season. More precisely, they’re in full juggling mode, still organizing, promoting and vending at the winter market, while laying the groundwork for summer at the same time. The Wolfeboro Area Farmers Market’s all-volunteer board are a committed group of farmers and producers—creating a vibrant market for the community is what’s important to them.
If you’re a farmer or a producer, and you’ve thought about bringing your wares to the market, check out the vendor application packet for the 2016 summer market. We’ll be at Clark Park once again, on Thursdays from 12:30 to 4:30, from June 2 to October 6. The board puts a lot of effort into creating a diverse, balanced and interesting mix of vendors to serve the needs of the community. Please consider joining us!
By now, the second and fourth Saturdays are probably on your calendar, and we appreciate that. We have a solid, loyal group of shoppers who shop up at every market, picking up staple items along with a few treats and a gift or two. As the market settles into its First Congregational Church location, it’s become a familiar stop. We appreciate your efforts to spread the word about the market and look forward to finishing the season off on a high note. Please bring a friend or two with you tomorrow!
We’ll be at the First Congregational Church on Main Street tomorrow from 10 to 2. See you at the market!
