The summer market will open for the 2017 summer season on Thursday, June 1 and will be open every Thursday from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. through October 5 at Clark Park, 233 South Main Street, in Wolfeboro, rain or shine. As if that news isn’t enough, we’re expecting more than 30 vendors this season, and the list continues to grow!
Not only will we have more vendors, but we’ll have a tremendous variety, even including live lobster and a variety of prepared, ready-to-eat foods. Market offerings include fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy products, fresh fish, cut flowers, meats, honey, herbal products, baked goods, vegan ice cream and a variety of prepared foods. Live music is provided by local musicians each week and shaded picnic tables will be available, too.
Once again, we’re able to offer Double SNAP benefits, thanks to donations and the commitment of the market board of directors. Food stamps recipients will be able to use their Electronic Benefits Cards (EBT) at the market and double their benefits, up to a $20 match. With the help of individual and business donations, along with support from the market itself, we’re happy to bring this benefit to the community again this year. You can support this program by making a tax-deductible donation today!
Please help us to spread the word in any way you can! Bringing new people to the market keeps it growing and thriving, so please bring a friend or two to the first market of the season!
